Sharpening and Reconditioning Your Shears

Shear Sharpening
  • Over 32 years of sharpening high end Japanese Shears - You can entrust your shears to us.
  • All work done by Debra Finck - Master Sharpener
  • It seems that every day a new brand of shear emerges into the market.
  • Bottom line, the function and design of the blade of a shear is basically the same.
  • There may be differences in color, hardware (screw or nut style adjuster, finger rest, bumper), edge angle and size.
  • We have what it takes to handle all of the above issues.
  • Important:  We have extensive experience in reconditioning shears.
  • What does this mean?  A shear that has been sharpened improperly, most times can be returned to its smooth, working condition.
  • All shears are honed with a water misted slow turning flat hone. This ensures that the shear will not heat up and will hold it's edge longer.
  • Question?  It’s as easy as a phone call or email.
  • Cost $45.00 for the first shear....this also covers shipping and insurance.
  • Pricing for more than one shear: $35.00 each
